Aim and Scopes

International Journal of Current Innovations in Interdisciplinary Scientific Studies  (IJ-CISS) is a peer reviewed, open access journal that publishes current innovative interdisciplinary studies. Links to interdisciplinary scientific information should be made in the introduction, discussion, results and conclusion sections of the articles to be sent. In addition, the interdisciplinary scientific contribution of the article should be explained. Scientific articles from every field of study can be sent to IJ-CISS Journal on the condition that the study is interdisciplinary. The articles should include discussions citing the results from articles that are published within last five years in journals indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore and others.

Publication Ethics

IJ-CISS requires all authors to adhere to the ethical standards as prescribed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) which take privacy issues seriously and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Publication Policy

IJ-CISS strongly encourages the publication of research worldwide to provide freely available and downloadable online publications and peer-reviewed research. In order to achieve this aim, IJ-CISS develops and follows general policies to help authors and researchers and clarify our position on key issues. It is a general principle that the editor of the journal is entirely and independently responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal should be published or not. In making this decision, the editor must follow the policies of the journal's editorial board.

IJ-CISS publishing policies include:

1. Accessibility

IJ-CISS consistently and proactively endeavors to make publications fully accessible to all users. IJ-CISS provides open access (OA) articles that are available online to the readers without any financial, legal, or technical requirements or sanctions and is committed to providing long-term, sustainable access to qualified scientific research for everyone.

2. Originality

All authors and researchers must adhere to publication requirements in which the submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere in any language before. Work should not be submitted concurrently to more than one publication unless the editors have agreed to co-publication.

3. Authorship

The authorship of research publications should accurately state individuals' contributions to the work. The list of authors should accurately reflect who carried out the research and who wrote the article. For collaborative research, who has done what and who takes responsibility for the conduct and validity should be clearly indicated to readers.

4. Misconduct and redundant publication

In cases of suspected or alleged research misconduct, IJ-CISS follows the COPE standards. If substantial amount of evidence of misconduct is found, some steps to correct the scientific record, which may include issuing a correction, retraction or withdrawal of the publication are followed. Research misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results. Fabrication is making up data or results and recording or reporting them. Falsification is manipulating research materials, equipment, or processes, or changing or omitting data or results such that the research is not accurately represented in the research record. Plagiarism is the appropriation of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit.

If you have any concerns about potential misconduct, please email the journal. Address correspondence to the journal's Editor-in-Chief, Chief Editor, or Editorial Director as appropriate. If misconduct is suspected, journal editors will act in accordance with the relevant COPE guidelines.

5. Article Retraction and Withdrawal

In cases of intrusion of professional ethical codes and principles such as multiple submission, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data; articles might be retracted from IJ-CISS database.

6. Confidentiality

Editors should critically evaluate any potential intrusion of data protection and participant confidentiality. This includes requiring properly informed consent for the actual research presented, consent for publication where applicable and having editorial policies that comply with guidelines on participant confidentiality.

Peer Review Process
The practice of peer review is to ensure that good science is published. It is an objective process at the heart of good scholarly publishing and is carried out on all reputable scientific journals. Our referees therefore play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of IJ-CISS and all manuscripts are peer reviewed following the procedure outlined below.

During review process we use iThenticate or Turnitin plagiarism software. So, it is recommended that authors should scan with IThenticate or Turnitin plagiarism or other free plagiarism software of their manuscripts.

Initial manuscript evaluation

The Editors first evaluate all manuscripts. Those rejected at this stage are insufficiently original, have serious scientific flaws, have poor grammar or English language, or are outside the aims and scope of the journal. Those that meet the minimum criteria are passed on to at least 2 experts for review.
Authors of manuscripts rejected at this stage will be informed within 2 weeks of receipt.

Type of Peer Review

This journal employs double blind reviewing, where both the referee and author remain anonymous throughout the process.

How the referee is selected

Referees are matched to the paper according to their expertise. Our database is constantly being updated. We welcome suggestions for referees from the author though these recommendations may or may not be used.

How long does the review process take?

Typically the manuscript will be reviewed within 2 months. Should the referees' reports contradict one another or a report is unnecessarily delayed a further expert opinion will be sought. All our referees sign a conflict of interest statement. Revised manuscripts are usually returned to the initial referees within 2 weeks. Referees may request more than one revision of a manuscript.

Final report

A final decision to accept or reject the manuscript will be sent to the author along with any recommendations made by the referees, and may include verbatim comments by the referees.

The Editors' Decision is final

Referees suggest the Editors, who are responsible for the final decision to accept or reject the article. It is obligatory for the researches to keep the data for 5 years. Due to our publishing policies, from time to time some of the data and analysis output may be requested from the authors.

Documents to be Sent After Acceptance

1) Final version of the accepted article prepared according to the IJ-CISS Template
2) Official Proofreading Certificate
3) The Similarity (Turnitin or iTenticate) Report is not more than %10.
