In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of practices employed via the use of various methods and techniques with the aim of developing listening skills using children's literature products on elementary second grade students' listening skills according to the variables of gender and nursery school. The study group was composed of 23 students. In a process of twelve weeks, in a study in which a pre-test and post-test experimental model  was employed. The "Listening Skill Evaluation Form" was used as pre-test and post-test and during the practices which lasted twelve weeks.  At the end of the listening training, noticeable development was observed in the listening skills of the students. Moreover, this development observed in the elementary second grade students' listening skills showed differences according to the variable of gender and nursery school as well.
