Since the early ages it has shown its presence in various forms and species; the phenomenon of violence, which is also shaped by the period and collecting in it, still maintains its existence and many people continue to be bleeding wounds. Even today, equality is being promoted between women and men within the framework of legislation, but it is revealed through studies that violence cannot be avoided. In this study, the types and causes of violence to which women from the most important victims of violence, which have a history as long as human history, are detected using the descriptive survey model. Although legislation has been developed for the protection of women in Turkey, the fact that violence against women still retains its existence and the existing laws developed are inadequate, a qualitative research method is used in order to demonstrate that both laws are inadequate and violence is preserved and awareness is raised in this regard.
