Dear reader,
We are pleased to publish the Volume 11, Number 2 of our Global Journal of Sociology: Current Issues (GJSOC). The aim of this publication was to present to our readers, the current issues with regards to Sociology in some of the countries that were greatly affected by the global pandemic (COVID-19). As such, six papers were selected after the peer review procedure.
The selected papers for this issue were written by seasoned researchers from Algeria, Portugal, Brazil, Croatia, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria. These papers cover the following topics: “Micro-macro problem in sociology: Towards a solution”; “Corruption practices and government effectiveness on human capital development in Nigeria”; “The problem of religious unity in modern Kazakhstan”; “Children and digital media”; “There is a relationship between the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and the International Tax Law in the universal pandemic moments? – Education study”; “Masked mimicry: The way of neo-culturalism”.
Based on the careful selection of the presented papers, we trust our readers would be informed in current issues going on around the world. We would therefore like to commend the authors of the selected papers for their efforts in producing the high standard research papers presented in this issue.
