Abstract
Dear reader,
It is with great pleasure that we present Volume 11 Number 1 April 2021 issue of our Global Journal of Sociology: Current Issues (GJSOC). This publication aimed to present social issues related to wellbeing, development, and societal growth. Based on the aim of the study, five papers were carefully selected after a thorough peer-review process. The selected papers were researched from Greece, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Jordan,
The selected papers in this publication include the following: The ontology of resistance between power and knowledge; Multilingualism is a trend in the development of modern Kazakhstan; Contemporary condemnation of memory; Causes of child sex tourism; The relationship between some components of prisoner’s psychological well-being and duration in prison: Hosanna, Ethiopia.
The presented papers cover issues that affect societies across the globe. Thus, the findings of the research could be applicable in various parts of the world. Therefore, we are confident that this publication will not only serve the interest of academicians and researchers but would also serve the interest of practitioners.
