Abstract

Dear readers,


It is with great pleasure that we announce the publishing of Volume 8, Number 2 (2021), December issue of the International Journal of Innovative Research in Education (IJIRE). This publication aimed to present resourceful articles related to innovative methods of teaching and learning that influence education. Based on the presented research articles in this issue, evidently, the aim was achieved.


Out of the total submissions, 6 papers were selected. The selected papers in this issue represented topics from Turkey, Portugal, North Cyprus, Kazakhstan and Romania. The selected papers include the following: Assessing competence in teacher education: Development of university students’ problem-solving skills; Using breakout rooms in online language teaching: Advantages and disadvantages; A quantitative analysis of student’s satisfaction: A study of Girne American University, North Cyprus; Examining pre-service science teachers' diagnostic question preparation skills on Seasons, climate, and weather movements; The case study in learning law; Social competence and emotional regulation in preschool children as a function of maternal acceptance and rejection.


We are elated at the resourcefulness of the published articles. We trust that our readers would be making good use of their time, while they read through the published articles. As such, we would like to extend our warm hand of gratitude to our valued researchers and our ever-resourceful editing and publishing team, for their immense contribution towards the success of this publication.
