Abstract
Dear reader,
We are pleased to publish Volume 11, Issue 1 of the Global Journal of Psychology Research: New Trends and Issues. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a lot of anxiety and psychological problems to a vast majority of people around the world. As such, most researchers have focused on studying the psychological effects of the pandemic on the masses. However, there remain other psychological issues outside of the pandemic that need to be addressed. The aim of this publication is to present to our readers, the current trends in Psychology, aside the problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The reviewers after a thorough peer review process selected 5 topics out of the total submissions. The selected papers include: Moderating effects of age, employment status and level of education on the predictive utility of the LSI-R for sexual offenders; Effect of oxytocin and cortisol levels on mother–infant bonding; The effect of communication skills training on marital intimacy and marital conflict among young couples: An experimental study; Neglected influences of wisdom of Sun Zi’s Art of War on corporate leadership; Psychosocial risks in radiology technicians. This issue presents topics from the United States of America, Iran, Portugal and Malaysia.
