Message from the Editor in Chief

Abstract

Dear reader,

It is our delight to publish the Vol 11, No 2, of the Global Journal of Psychology Research: New Trends and Issues. As a journal that seeks to share information about psychology from researchers around the world, this publication intended to maintain the standard. The aim of this publication therefore, is to present to our readers, various psychological and health related issues from around the world.

Based on the aim of this issue, five (5) papers were selected after a careful review process, representing topics from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Egypt and Iran. The selected topics included the following: The validity and the reliability of freiburg mindfulness inventory to Turkish; Study of the focus of achievement motivation in mental pathology; Stress-induced cardiovascular responses to cold pressure test in healthy young subjects; Psychological climate and its relationship with achievement motivation among wheelchairs basketball players; The effectiveness of preventive-behavioural therapy and cognitive anxiety group and student’s attention. As such, we would like to extend our warm arm of gratitude to all the contributors to this issue.
