Abstract
Dear reader,
We are delighted to publish Volume 14, issue Number 1 of the International Journal of Learning and Teaching. Over the years, this journal has been very useful to researchers, teaching practitioners and readers from various walks of life, who intend to find information on teaching and learning. As such, this issue aims to provide useful information on education, that can chart the course for further studies and help various stakeholders of education to improve the teaching and learning process, by considering what is best for each student.
Considering the aim of this publication, five articles were selected from the total number of submissions. The selected papers represented topics from Pakistan, Spain, Ghana and Nigeria. The selected topics include the following: “Teaching oral English through technology: Perceptions of teachers in Nigerian secondary schools”; “Self-esteem as a predictor on students’ academic achievement in the colleges of education”; “Relationship between parental anxiety and students’ academic stress at secondary level”; “Development of digital competence in teacher training: A systematic review”; “Assessment of academic achievements of special children”.
This publication has been possible as a result of the contribution of the researchers who shared their research with us, the publishing team and our readers. We would therefore like to extend our gratitude to all our contributors. Dear reader, enjoy reading!!
Best Regards,
Jesus Garcia Laborda, University of Alcala, Spain,
Editor-in-Chief.
